In 2016, I started this blog as a birthday challenge: write 40 posts in 40 days. Then, plot twist! Since 2016 was a leap year, why not start the blog on February 29? It became 44 posts in 44 days.
29 then 40 chronicled my humorous childhood, figure skating years, and random opinions. Plus my confusing separation, Throwback Thursdays, reflections, humorous stories about former jobs. And a stay at the Health Science Centre’s Epilepsy Monitoring Unit in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
The 29 then 40 blog posts are light and happy with the hope you’ll find them happy and light too. While some content appears negative, the posts end on a high note.
I’m a freelance reporter, published author, actor and I’m pursuing a modelling career. I’m a Red River College alumni with a Creative Communications diploma in journalism, and a former broadcast journalist (television and radio) and reporter with several news outlets. I’m currently training with CJNU 93.7 FM as an operator and on-air personality.
